Playing with Birds

What better way to volunteer in education than at the Migratory Bird Fair in Catacamas, Olacho?

We spent a brilliant weekend traipsing around after Honduran and U.S. biologists who collaborated in an educational birding event.  The fair took place at the National Agricultural University, where the college students got to both learn and teach.  Local elementary schools were invited to participate in games, activities, and birding with the college students and biologists.  We love how our projects always take us to new parts of Honduras and get to participate in creative, educational events like these.
