Plans are underway for fourth annual volunteer trip

This is the fourth year that Highlands Church from Denver, Colorado is bringing a group of volunteers to La Florida, La Paz, Honduras.  This is their largest group to date with 18 people.  Today was our first meeting with all the volunteers, and Chispa Project gave an introduction outlining basic facts about the area and country. 

Highlands will be doing a sink (pila) project this year, building over 30 pilas for individual houses.  This need was pointed out by Mayor Dunia Martinez, and Chispa Project is organizing a local committee who will decide which houses receive pilas.
