Be a part of creating a library from scratch.
Books change the story.

Often libraries are started because of a champion who goes to bat for a particular school or community.
Donate today to be part of giving children their first books with Chaplain Norris Burkes and his readers.  Here’s why you should help in his own words:

Let’s do it again.

You’ve seen and heard about Chispa Project in my column for years! Since 2012, this non-profit organization, founded by my daughter, has worked in alliance with Honduran teachers, schools, and mayors to bring children’s books into schools. So far they have brought approximately 62,000+ books to over 100 schools and organizations thanks to your help.

I’ve been to Honduras to visit Sara and her family and I’ve been there for establishing libraries 5 different times with volunteer readers. This year, I’m headed back in June to create yet another library.

Please consider a gift of $100 to help us give a child their first book.

Blessings,

Chaplain Norris

Bonus: For every donation for $250 and over, we'll send you a copy of Chaplain Norris' book! Select which book you’d like during checkout.

Come Volunteer

Join my wife and I in Honduras to help install a library on June 16 - 23, 2024.  We need volunteers to come alongside the community to paint murals, sticker books, and set up the library from start to finish in a week! There’s still a couple spots left. Don't miss out.
